Making Strides Campaign!
October 15, 2017
The Breast Cancer Strides walk is this Sunday at Central Park. The Academy of Finance and Enterprise is instructed that they will meet in front of the Apple Store at 5th Avenue at 7 AM. The school along with many other schools/ organizations will be attending this walk.This is a great time to come together as one united group and help raise awareness. This is also an amazing opportunity to give donations and help fight against Breast Cancer.
Youth Business Summit

The Youth Business Summit will allow students to gain access to summit events such as the Global Business Challenge, International Trade Exhibition, National Business Plan Competition and other related events. All YBS participants will be given a badge to indicate their security and is required to be worn at all times.
Business Plan Competition

Our school, The Academy of Finance and Enterprise hosted the annual Business Plan City Competition on December 20, 2017 and it was a success! Millennial Money Management and HeadStart Advisors want to congratulate MatchWear in placing first. Most importantly, MMM wants to thank all the teachers, staff, and judges for making this event to happen. The Business Plan competition forces VE students to use their organization, communication, and presentation skills. The top 3 firms that placed will proceed to the City Wide Competition.
Net Neutrality

Net neutrality is the principle that individuals should be free to access all content and applications equally, regardless of the source, without Internet service providers discriminating against specific online services or websites. In other words, it is the principle that the company that connects you to the internet does not get to control what you do on the internet. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and the other Republican commissioners have killed net neutrality giving total control of your internet connection to your ISP. But Congress, via the Congressional Review Act, has the power to repeal the FCC order.
Company Branding Competition

The 2017 company branding is a chance firms can showcase their branding package. This event is stretched from October 16, 2017 to December 4, 2017. This will consist of the firm's logo, business cards, cover pages, sales materials, and other similar company documents. The most effective firms will me acknowledged and relevant to the event. The most unique logo, that follows all elements, will be reviewed during November 4th to the 26th.
Networking Event
November 17, 2017
The networking event will be at hosted at Academy of Finance and Enterprise's atrium. The event will take place during the day. There will be other firms that will participate during this event. This is a great opportunity to create connections and relations between the firms. This is a time where firms can exchange ideas, give advice and gain more experience. This will allow firms to become more educated and exposed to the business field.
